5 Wire Lifan ATV Wiring Diagram

One day while my eldest son was sliding around on ice and snow his fun came to a abrupt stop with no response for the engine.

After checking all the connections, even jumping the starter relay observing no spark, I noticed an odd buzz sound from a mysterious black box which had about 15 wires coming out of it.  After some checking it turned out this was an alarm system.  Assuming this was the culprit I decided to bypass it.

The minimum required wiring is shown above!

To start make sure kill switch is deactivated, press start button.

To stop, toggle kill switch. 

No keys, no alarms etc.  Nice and simple. 

Do note the remote kill switch is a safety device and may be useful if your youngster loses control of the ATV.
